Truck went BOOM this weekend....Whats a good diesel forum??
Was driving back from LOTO this weekend and a loud bang came from under the hood and I lost all my PSI on the turbo. Not sure if I blew the turbo or just the hose off the side. Anywho its at a dealership down there and I am back home. Even considering trading it in for a 6.4. I havent had any issues at all out of the truck but I really like the new interior style. Anyone know a good diesel forum to be a part of? Until my truck gets paid off its a daily driver also so I am looking for something that can be driven daily.

Sorry it was an 2005 F250. They told me I just blew off the hose and it split it so they replaced the hose. They asked me about how much boost I usually run and I told them on big hills it looks like it will rev close to 40 PSI quite often. They told me to hit the tow/haul button when I approached steep grades. I tow with cruise control on. Is this a big issue? Can I buy some kind of a programmer thing for towing that makes it stay off the turbo above 30 psi opr something?
