Default 10% Ethanol enhanced Fuel in my 525SC

The Utah stations are all now selling 10% ethanol added fuel this summer. Do i have to worry about lowering my boost level, changing my jets or advancing my timing?

If you are running stock boost and timing, it will be fine. I ran 8# of boost and more cam in my 525SC with 92 octane and never had never had a problem.

E-10 fuel runs 3% leaner compared to standard fuel.

Another important issue is water build up in the fuel. If you leave the gas/ethanol in your tank for an extended period of time the ethanol attracts water into the fuel. (that's the simple story, there is a much more technical analysis and explanation that is not necessary to this point.) Water in the fuel, other than the obvious problem of water getting into your injection system, can lead to phase separation. We have had fuel systems so clogged with phase separated fuel that the gas came out looking like jello.

So,
1. treat each fill-up with fuel conditioner specially formulated for E10.
2. If possible, run your tank dry.
3. Change your fuel / water separators frequently during the season
4. If you suspect that you have had E10 in the tank for a long time without treatment, have it pumped and disposed of properly. The bill for pumping and disposal is far more palatable than the bill for cleaning out the fuel system and shipping out the injectors for refurb or replacement.

3% leaner is not a problem with the 525SC's. They are set up way rich. Stock is #98 jets. I ran 8#'s with stock jetting on 92 octane.
