We had 10 days planned starting the weekend after the 4th in Navarre/Ft. Walton area this summer. Arriving for the air show in Pensacola and then just having fun and boating on the coast for the next week. Now it looks like the oil is finally coming ashore. We had our fingers crossed but it looks like we are going to lose. Are they going to cancel the big air show in Pensacola? Are any locals seeing anything or smelling it like they are saying all over the news? We are still holding out for our vacation but we are going to have to make some decisions here pretty quick.......any help would be great!

We have a vaca planed for the 19th we heard all the rentals there went to a 24hr cancellation policy.

I'm in Destin now watching the waves roll onto the white sand. No oil or smell now. The place is fairly busy. Everyone is worried rightfully but things are good for at least today.

We just canceled our trip from Baton Rouge to Biloxi by boat. Still have reservations for Orange Beach late July and Destin in August for the poker run but its not looking good. May just scrap all the plans and go spend a week in Cancun or Key West.
