1995 Mercury Sport Jet 90. Bayliner Reflexx

Is the tunnel supposed to fill with water
(area above ride plate)? or is this a water tight seal.

I have a new ride plate gasket, but the foam exhaust deflectors have a gap near the top.

I think you are talking about the intake, from bottom of boat ? if so yes..if not can you put up a pic...Rob
