1987 Baja 240 Sport Hatch Lift

1987 Baja 240 Sport Hatch Lift
When I got the boat ...it didn't have a hatch lift. Does anyone here know what length lift I would need? I am thinking about getting a Lenco one ...thoughts?? However they come in lengths from 25 to 47 inches and I do not know what length to purchase or even how to measure. Thx for any help.

I have baja outlaw 24 just replaced mine with the same one that came stock Acculift PH24008Q this is on a ton of boats, got mine on ebay Greatlakeskipper is name, do a search for part number, he had a bunch in stock and there used in ski boats but same number. Even came with brackets,
