I have a old char-lynn steering helm, I've replaced my power steering pump and had my single cylinder rebuilt. Does anyone know of a replacement for this helm? My boat is a 26ft 1979 Hawaiian Offshore with a Arneson Outdrive. Also can these Helms be rebuild?

Yep...Go to your local john deere dealer and ask them who rebuilds them around there.

Rik at Arneson Industries had some on hand a few years ago for a good price. As said above. They are the same as off road equipment.
