Default Maryland Powerboat Club Potomac Run

The Maryland Powerboat Club is having their 2nd annual fun run on the Potomac River July 31. Everyone is invited for a fun day and evening to end with Locked-N-Loaded Band (formerly Capt Woody) at Drift Away Bar on Cobb Island.

Mark your calendars this is sure to be a fun filled event.

How big is the water below the 301 bridge. If i'm able to get the boat up in NOVA that weekend, it might be something we'd do. Is it an overnighter? Place to stay?

Not sure about the overnight question but on 95% of the days you would be perfectly fine.

stops and info will be posted in the next coupie days , get the word out lets make this a big event . we have our own personal boat ramp less then a mile from the first stop , plenty of parking , can take a boat over fifty foot , if anyones interested in using it let me know .

First stop must be Fitzie's. Maybe you can run your own boat, and not ride with someone else this year.

last year i felt like we were being filmed for an episode of the deadieist catch , that had to be the worst day i ever saw on the potomac

Rough enough to brake the stringers or fuel tank in that 32 Sunsation!!!! I would say it was rough.
