Dave, I was just talking to my sister and she said she thought MSI (Mitchells) was taken out also. Do you know that to be true? I really hope not. I worked for them for a long time and they are the nicest people I have ever met. SAD!

Hey Dave,
I think we take for granted the wonderful weather that we usually have in our part of the country. No earthquakes, hurricanes or tornadoes usually. Good luck in the cleanup. Thank God that there wasn't more people killed, from the looks of it on the news, it looks like a war zone.

Glad to see that you guys are OK. We were ready for it to come our way, but it went just north of us. We had some fierce lightning for a bit, but that was it. We were lucky.

Dave:

Glad you're OK. We're thinking about you all out there.
I'm amazed that you all had an F4 roll through. Very unusual.

Believe it or not -- loss of life could have been much worse for a tornado of that size.

But one is still too many.

Hey Mike,

I don't know about Mitchell's. They still have rt. 6 closed. It's amazing the low number of fatalities considering the damage. I think they were talking about classifying it an F5. I think I know what the F stands for!
