Cigarette, Donzi, Formula, Scarab, etc, what are some of the better 70's to early 90's hulls, 24'-28', preferably single engine. What brands have less known issues than others, as far as moisture retention issues, rot, strength finish etc. I really like the 28ss Cigarettes, did they make anything similar to that in single engine? Feel free to mention brands I haven't mentioned, thanks for the help/experience.

Pantaras and magnums come to mind, the wellcraft novas and scarabs are well known rot candidates,but are great boats when redone.

There are many good boats in that size range. I have been in all of them and the best IMO is the Pantera. Great ride,dry, solid, well built. The 24 handles like a bigger boat just like the 28. Good luck in your search
