Default 23 p clever for b1

i have a single engine 502 fountain 27 b1 and i have a friend who has a rt and left 23 pitch clever props that he wants to sell for cheap . these are 3 blade props and i was wondering if anyone knew if these will work for me or if you gotta have some serious power to make them work . i know they are a top speed type prop but has anyone had any experience with these type props on a single engine boat .

I just pulled one off my cig. The acceleration up top (5000-6000) was incredible. Pretty much sucked everywhere else. Slip numbers were huge. I keep it as a spare now...

Try a Mirage Plus 23 or 25. You will probably see better top end with a Mirage vs a bravo. What is your current speed / RPM at WOT?
