It appears that the Laser is designed for lift but only for 22' or smaller boats with Alpha's.

the laser will give you more bow lift then the mirage as the laser has more rake but its limit is 22 ft. i went from a laser II 23 to a mirage 23 and lost 7 mph as the nose on my scarab 22 wouldnt get up high enough. now switching to laser 25 as i am out of prop.

It depends on the kind of Mirage. The M+ has more bow lift than the old Mirage. The LaserII is quite a bit smaller in dia than the Mirage prop too. In my experience both the M+ and the LaserII are bowlifters, but because of the larger dia. of the M+, it has better bite and lift. One thing I noticed on a 20' Stingray I drove last year when prop testing with a friend, was that the added dia. of the M+ seemed to create sternlift, and therefore pushed the bow down, so as always with props, there are variables. In that particular case, the LaserII had better lift than the M+.

This would be a good one for BBlades to chime in on.
