Question gross weight of a 26 foot scarab open fish with a single 250 merc.

my ford sport track 2001 the bumper hitch is rated for a 3500# wgt
i got a 26 foot scarab with a single 250 merc. and i need to know if i could pull this on a bumper ball or i should step up to a reciever hitch.?
the bumper is ratted for 3500# max gross trailer.
please give me your feed back.

look on nada online and it will give the weights dont know how acurate but i would think they are close , stopping that bad boy in that truck could get a little exciting

Definitely get a quality receiver installed, period.

And make sure you truck and trailer brakes, hitch drawbar, and ball are ALL up to the task.

I towed my 24 Pantera with my Sport Trac for a short time, but here's what I would recommend:

- Receiver hitch
- Air Lift rear leveling air bags
- Good brakes on the trailer
