Default question about drives and lower units

The question I have is can you put a #6 or #3 drive with herring prop on a single engine boat. I have a 28ft boat twin step and knotched transom. It has a 502mpi with m1 procharger at 5 pounds of boost. I would like to maybe run the hering prop or hydromotive prop and any advise would be greatly. thanks for the help.

I don't see why not, theirs a guy out in calf that does this speed skiing event every year, his boat a 21' hallett has a ssm#6 with a twin turbo bbc.the boat does over 120mph..

theirs another boat i know of which is a Donzi gt21 with a ssm v on it with a 502 and from what im told it handles it so i would say go for it!
