Inaugural bad influence offshore Brian Miller unofficial, loosely organized, extremely voluntary run to Michigan City. Departure point will be either East Chicago or Hammond...arrival will be in Michigan City just in time to see the raceboats from the Great Lakes Offshore Grand Prix be craned in for practice. Possible party on the docks or at Mateys to follow (suggestions are welcome). Slipping in overnight at MC and watching the races Sunday is highly recommended...but your own responsibility. No cost. No charities. No b.s. Just plain fun.

Who's in?

Mike will you be staying in MC Thursday and Friday night on the boat and then heading West for the start of the run by water? I think Twin Whackas and I will be staying on our boats Thursday and Friday night. Mateys is having a Bikini Contest Thursday night and is also the kickoff part for the races.

Not entirely sure...that is a possibility, although driving out there and back again might be a bit more trouble than it's worth. However...if you and Mike and Andy and Payton and Mike Case (I'm assuming those farm boys will be there like last year!) all got together and headed west, we could meet up somewhere and all come in together. Depends on the response from people wanting to do the run...could be big, could be small...who knows...?

I'm in as long as everything is good with my boat and it is not to rough. I'm sure Twin Whackas will be in as well.

Speaking on behalf of the race, we LOVE that you guys are doing this. I think it's great and we want you all to have a blast.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can.
You'll find me quite easily. I'll be the guy driving around in a green golf cart like a chicken with my head cut off.

I'd be in from Oklahoma, but that's much too close to our due date! I'm pretty sure the wife wouldn't be happy about me taking a road trip 3 days before the baby is due!
