Anybody know about how far it is from Detroit to Lake Erie Metro Park. (Mouth of Detroit River from Lake Erie) I'm guessing about 20 miles I think I read somewhere that Detroit river is like 38 miles or so...


Also how far it would be from the metro park to Put in Bay?

It depends, are you going east or west of Grosse Ille?

The west side of Grosse Ille (between the Island and Trenton, under the two bridges to the Island) is no wake for boats over 26 feet long. You're going a little out of your way to get to the east side of the island, but you will save HOURS of time that you would otherwise be putzing up / down the Detroit river.

Thanks guys. We are going to a Tigers game on Sat night so we'll be staying down in detroit. We thought maybe Sun morning we'd take a trip down to erie for a couple days. Gotta decide how much gas I wanna buy!!
