What would be a good offshore boat to deal with the steep waves of Lake Michigan?
Something in the 45' range with a deep V and good sea keeping abilities. Absolute speed would not be the main concern, but rather stability and a dry ride. A decent interior without a low ceiling would be a plus. I am thinking something along the lines of a Cary...
Thanks-

To anwser your Q's..without a low cieling, great tracking... there are very few choices... the best choice is NorTech..I have owned 3 of them...over 6'4 headroom, full walk in head with no step up to get in. Ive also owned a 42 Sonic, ok boat, headroom is good, rides ok, porpoises some at cruise but not the same league as the NT. The Cig is smaller in the cabin as far as height goes, cockpit is shorter, quality is the same, and runs about 2-3mph faster with same power on a smaller beam with a full stagger which NT has only a semi stagger. Drive all 3 if possible to get a feel. Good luck. Jeff
