Colonial Beach, Va. Marina Fire
. Looked like everything in the marina was on fire. I hope no OSO members had a boat there.

The story I heard was that someone was working on their boat. A small fire started and spread quick and the boat exploded. 60-70 other boats were damaged / destroyed. Mostly large yachts at that marina.

I have been there a few times. To my knowledge, no OSO members at that Marina, but there are several who are close. From what I heard through my Fire Department, it was an awful fire; very hard to fight as every few minutes another fuel cell blew up. At this point, they are unsure if anyone was killed, as some boats were live-aboards. I really hope they can pull through. We used to have a Region 8 IJSBA PWC race stop there; really nice community with a nice boardwalk. (Just a few hics out that way.)
