If your looking for a fun run with some real boat enthusiasts, that won't cost you $1000.00 entry fee or more,check out the thread in the Poker Run section for the 2010 Swamp Run on Oneida Lake. I have been attending this run since 2005 and I can assure you that you can run hard and play even harder afterwards. The stops are all great, and most importantly it is to benefit Make A Wish. If you need some motivation to help sick kids may I suggest watching the movies Extraordinary Measures or My Sisters Keeper. These tear jerkers will want to make you quit your job and become a full time volunteer. I'm hoping it will at least get you to sign up and attend this run. If you can't make it, but would still like to help the children out you can contact NY Powerboat here on the board. Sponserships are still needed as well as items for the raffle. I put this event on my schedule ever since the Snow Mobile Poker Run over the winter where all of those that registered for that event received a discount coupon from Sharkey-Images that can be used towards any purchase through the website good until 12/31/2010.
