Hello, just bought my first performance boat a 1990 Sunsation Rocket. I believe it has to big of prop on it. It has a rebuilt 454 with some head work and intake manifold so the horse power should be about 350-375 (and bravo 1 drive). It currently has a 26 pitch 4 blade mirage prop and I only get 4000rpm at WOT and 60mph (gps). Please help I'm a newbie! Thanks!

I think that is a 24ft boat, and I agree with Sledge that a 23 mirage plus would be a good place to start. I've never had much luck with a 4 blade prop on smaller boats like that unless you want a killer tube puller. You could try a 24 Bravo1 4 blade if you can borrow one. You need to get rpm's up higher to get maximum performance.
