Sat Aug 14th I will be hosting a funrun. It will be the same day as the annual raftoff party. We will be leaving from the mouth of the Black creek in front of Metro at 10:45AM. Running down to Sinbads on the Detroit river for lunch. After lunch we will do a short loop in front of downtown Detroit and Windsor Canada then back up the lake to Muscamoot bay for the "raftoff". Around 6-6:30PM we will depart and head to Jacks in St.Clair Shores for dinner. After dinner we will run Back to Metro Beach for the night. This will be a pay as you go run! Overnight wells at Metro are $14.00 and the have a launch (boats up to 45') and plenty of parking. They also have full facilities including showers. There is no up front cost but I do ask for a head count by Aug 6th so I can have a headcount for dinner/lunch.

Hey Jay, why not make it for sunday? I'd love to attend but, like a lot of people I'd imagine, I will be getting to the Moot early to raft off with friends for the day.

Seems tough to have two events the same day. Just a suggestion, otherwise sounds like a blast and hope everyone has a good time.

Yeah thought about that but a few of us decided it would be best on Sat. The raft will be there all day no reason to get there early. We figure we will be arriving around 2 ish?

Sounds cool, I gotta check the plans with a buddy coming in town.

Might try and just catch up near the raft off to tie up with some decent people.
