Default 25 Daytona ICC speeds.......

What is everyone running?

2005 25 daytona icc
625 Ilmor
Imco lower
28p stock B1 prop

92-93 mph in the summer with 3 people and gear. I'm thinking high 90's when the weather cools.

i have a customer with the same but a 27 we set his up with a stock 30 it ran 93.3 in the fall now it runs 87, we sent the prop out to BBlades and it now runs 90. I expect 5-6mph as the weather cools down. Thats about what the stock 30 did 87-93

Good info, I was loaded down this weekend at a poker run. 4 adults, a ton of gear, and full fuel. Was running 85-88mph pretty easy.

We have been talking to Ilmore about upgrading to the 725. I think its about 8K if we sent the motor in. But I hear thru some top secret channels they are going to build a blown 900hp.... Its a really solid motor I think anything the build will be great.

Wow, IMO 8K is a bargain for that upgrade. Might have to pull mine out this winter.

I was really surprised myself. I wrote it down but I think that's crank rods and pistons, plus head work and a ecm cal. They have some weird pistons in the 625. I should pull my notes and take a look. But yeah that's dirt cheap for 100hp, with the reliability you get from Ilmore you cant go wrong.
