I will soon be ready to paint the deck of my cobra cause I'm taking off the name and some striping. The gellcoat is kind of chalky too. I know how to spray imron, deltron etc. My question is, can I spray gellcoat, how? and would it be better than imron? What kind of prepwork and is it OK to second bond gellcoat. Any input is greatly appreciated. Also does anybody have brackets that hold lathem steering rams to the transom that they would like to sell? Does lathem sell them seperately? Thank's

i like a two part urathane base and two coats of urathane clear over gelcoat. it doesn't stain, get chalky, no compounding, and hardly ever wax it. hose it off and it looks great.
