Default 496 HO hours

HI just curious,i already have 600 hours on my 496 HO with 0 problem how mutch hours can i expect before rebuilt,usualy drive it between 3500 and 3800 and ocasionaly full throttle not more than 2 minutes,change oil every 50 hours.thank

They say to change the oil cooler at 700 hr
and keep on driving. Ive seen 496 s down in fla with
3000 hrs and no major problems as long as you service it rite.

check oil often cause it uses some. Don't run it hot. Last long time.

Use [or keep using?] good oil, I prefer synthetic, change it often, dont overheat it and it should last "forever", if you have a spare afternoon, it might not hurt to check the valvesprings and use a leakdown tester on it, beyond that, keep boating and enjoy!
