Default Just Delivered, 2011 33' Active Thunder!

Conratulations to Steve from Wisconsin! His new 33 Active Thunder with Twin Merc 8.2's is a beauty! All of the standard features Active Thunder includes with every boat, along with Silent Choice, Electric head, Simrad Large screen GPS MAP, Galley cooler and an Upgraded Stereo system.
This is Steve's first twin engine boat, and I was along for the sea trial. Cruises easily at 60+mph, top end 80! Check her out, and visit our factory showroom of pre-owned Active Thunders!

This boat is equipped with the new Mercruiser 8.2 MAG H.O. 430HP engines including catalytic converters. Additionally this is the first boat to have this engine setup and Corsa Captain's Call. Plus it has full time mufflers in the tips due to Wisconsin's strict noise laws. It's wicked quiet, and still hauls the mail.

It's on a custom painted aluminum Manning trailer; and really did turn out nice. Congrats Steve aka "509 SC".

Nice boat! Congrats to the owner! Sunsation has done three boats with the new Merc motors two singles and the other a twin 32' so far. I can say they are quiet, almost too quiet but I like it that way a long day on the water hearing that tends to get old for me.

Default More Paint Shots

Here are a few more shots to appreciate the paint! No, those are not reflections, the paint is really sharp!

Nice. Engine bay looks tight but with the seat back going up with the hatch you could even change a cam without yanking the motor !!! Two thumbs up for access. Good luck with her , I'm jealous for sure !!!

Beautiful boat! Love the choice of power. How do they run and do you notice any smell difference?
