Charlie Herzinger (42 Outer Limits - In Motion) is dishonest

I saw a post for two High Performance Bravo Out drives, 1.36 ratio in
GREAT SHAPE. Purchased them and upon closer inspection one has a twisted output shaft and the other only has neutral. Sent him pictures of the twisted shaft. He denies that this is his drive and I should have looked at them better. Told him I wanted $ 500.00 off the purchase price of $ 5,000.00 and he laughed and hung up! Charlie, you are a dishonest forum advertiser and I hope forum members will remember the above when you list GREAT SHAPE items for sale on this forum. You should have named your boat,

Buying used drives scares the hell outta me. That said, I've purchased an upper and lower here. Both times I've had the seller ship the drives to my drive shop. Which is reputable and well known. Each time the seller has said "unit is in excellent condition". Kind of means something, but kind of not. I paid my drive guy to tear in to both units and inspect them. I got lucky twice. But I will say this, if the units were not in the condition the seller stated, hard for them to argue with the drive shop.

Sucks that people would lie or mislead a buyer.

its costing me$1000 plus parts. he said they were ready to bolt on . big lie.you no that saying wt goes around comes aroundi hope one day he needs some one to fix his boat and they read this and tell him to hit the road or just over charge him. you no guys like charlie ripp people off will pay one or the other????
