Thumbs up Credit Union Loans the way to go !

Well I don't know how many people work with a credit union ,
but they are so easy to deal with. Went into our Credit Union and next day was approved for a boat loan.Didnt care what type of boat or how fast it was.

Same here.

It took me calling a lot of CU's, but they were the only ones even close to loaning last year.

Which Credit union was it and how long was the term? My credit union offers 8 year max I believe, but I know some financing companies offer 15 to 20 based on what you buy.

My wife called our CU last week & told them she is going on 11 mos unemployed (which is the truth). I think they realized they could get stuck w/ a boat. They got back to us today & notified us they lowered our rate to 4.49% for the remaining of the loan. Now if only my wife could get a job we could use the boat more.

The credit union I use will go up to 15 years depending on the value of the boat and offers competitive rates.

I have been dealing with my Credit union for many years and always have my loan ready in a cpl of hours, they handled my boat loan in a matter of one day, great to deal with and no B.S. like the big banks.
