Default Cleaning CMI - any tricks???

Picked up some CMI headers that need a good cleaning. Any tricks for bringing them back to life??? I have heard of an acid wash but not sure what it consists of.

Any ideas????

Geez, how bad are they???? Washing them with acid is pretty extreme and will leave a lot of streaking.

I would think Mother's mag wheel polish and a powerball
