I've seen those vids before. 1350hp and 80mph shows the limitations of the dual-jet drive system. On the other hand you get there in about six seconds. And the mid-range acceleration is more like a drag car than a boat.

Turbines use a good percentage of the airflow as cooling. The exhaust an be water cooled instead of the heat blanket, but then you loose the ability to play flamethrower.
