Hello,
I am new to this forum so please forgive me if you all have covered this topic before. but I have a 24 foot Arriva it is my first boat and I would really like to build my own drop down bolster seats b/c the boat is not real deep I can’t build them the full 44 inches. my thought was rather then have them swing down just have the bottoms slide out I never really sit down anyway and that way I would not have to worry about the bottom of the seat hitting the floor.

Just rebuilt my drop down bolsters from my 81 Scarab Type "S". Made them out of treated plywood and changed the mounting from lag screws to studs, makes taking them in and out much easier and I think much stronger mounting. If you want pics send me a post.
