Well, I finally got to run my Saber in some bigger water. Coming home today from an overnighter, about a 35 mile run, we got into some 8 footers for part of the ride and washing machine 6 footers the rest of the way
. We were soaked, and took some pretty hard shots(need to invest in some goggles, spray in my eyes made me miss a few heavies) but the boat was great, never felt unsafe or uncomfortabe. Even the wife was OK after we got going. I definately would have loved to be on a 41 though, maybe Dan can loan me Wicked Won next time lol. I am really impressed with the boat so far, it handles the water like nothing else its size. Some friends of ours come behind us in bigger cruisers and said it was the worst boat ride they have ever had. Guy in a 50' SeaRay went out before us and called back to say he wasnt comfortable and we should stay in.

they are amazing in rough water, no doubt. Lesley and I had ours out in 3-5 footers with a 6 foot hole here or there... the boat was amzing and she had fun. we didnt set any speed records but the boat never jarred us and we never felt usafe.
