Default ACC Button

Anyone know what the ACC button does on the 26 OL? I have been spending the night on the boat alot lately and the incandescent light bulbs behind the gauges pull 2.5 amps. I would like to move those lights to the ACC switch so they aren’t on all night pulling on the battery. Not really sure why Baja thinks the dash lights must be on with the anchor light.

On my 2008 26 OL the ACC switch was not wired to anything, thus a spare.

Have to agree...I have two of them and I'm guessing they're spares cuz there not wired for anything.

on my 252 its a spare.

but the dash lights should only be on with the nav lights, once you rock the button the other way to anchor it should kill the red/green bow light and the gauges.

I agree, but my 26OL has the dash lights on at any switch position. I plan to put the dash lights on the ACC switch even though it has a feed wire that goes somewhere. Maybe it "dead ends" past the connector in the wire bundle behind the dash. I have replaced all of my nav and courtesy lights with LED. With all of them on they only pull right at 1 amp. I will post results after I get everything done for anyone interested.
