Outbound, http://www.boats.com/boat-content/20...-the-shootout/.
This is unconfirmed, but a reliable source says the Spirit of Qatar, the UIM Class 1 catamaran now racing stateside, could be there.
This event has taken on a life of its own.

As one of those 60mph Baja guys, a shootout rookie and a relative newcomer to Lake of the Ozarks I don't think I was this excited as a kid on Christmas morning!
Just to be able to rub elbows with the likes of Teague, Morgan, Scott, etc. and see the hardware at the Wednesday night meet and greet was an experience I'll never forget. Even getting stuck behind Aqua Mania coming home from work last night was a thrill (but probably not so much for oncoming traffic).
Life of it's own may be an understatement, at least from my viewpoint.

Springfield would have been a good call, except that all my colleagues, who came from Los Angeles, flew into St. Louis. So there you go.
