I would like to plan a trip to the 2011 Shootout, does any one know the dates?

Also this would be my first trip to LOTO, when looking at places to stay, what area or part of the lake should I be looking, what are the must see's, and what should I stay away from (we will most likley not bring our boat).

Others know the lake better than I, but last year we stayed at Captain Ron's & it was perfect.
There are more condos on that lake than you can count.
I'm not pitching someone else's site, but Midwestboatparty.com is probably the best bet for local knowledge on where to go & stay info.
