Default Highest Poker Run Payout In The Country?

HIGH ROLLER POKER RUN Sept. 10-11 Lake Texoma

Is this the highest cash payout for Poker Runs in the USA? It's $500/hand in the pot that's split 70/30% high hand/low hand. The $100 for the extra card goes 100% to charity.

I think Loes Highport had some really high stakes poker runs in the mid 90's. Winner take all. 50k+ Cash

someone may need to clarify for me though.

The biggest Poker Run payout for an event I have been in was $ 100,000.00 cash.

PRA High Stakes Run Ottawa Ontario , 4 years ago.

I had three 9s with one card left to be turned over.

David Luciani pulled a Straight.

No second prize.

PR entry fee......10K

The largest pay out I've seen at the Texoma Run was $96,000 cash. It's getting back to big #'s. And the entry is $500...not $10,000!

It was 10k because it was limited to 25 boats.

Am I doing the math right?
$10,000/hand X 25/boats or hands = $250,000 ???
And the pay out is only $100,000?

High Roller Run had 40 hands $500 each, paid out $14,000 to high hand and $6,000 low hand. Still gave over $10,000 to the Make A Wish Foundation.

Maybe we do math different in Texas?
