Default gen V 502 mag ?

Is the gen V (1993-1995) 502 mag a roller setup or not?
I found a very affordable gen 5, should I keep looking for a gen 6 or jump on the gen 5?
Thanks for any help.

Nothing wrong with a flat tappet cam, just use an oil heavy with zinc.
