Default Coupler Info On Replacement

I am running a 43 Scarab with triple 502's and Bravo 1 drives. I ran a ground and now I need a lot of repair. On the center motor I twisted the spline on the input shaft that goes in to the coupler about one tooth to the side. My question is this, The coupler looks good, the shaft will be replaced but should the coupler be reused with the new shaft? Is there any info out there from Merc that tells you when you need to replace or reuse couplers?
Thank You

The insurance company is telling me they are good, reuse them, will not be covered. The twisted shaft did not hurt them and the wear on the teeth in the couplers looks like normal wear even if there is only 300 hrs on them.
HELP

Ask the insurance adjuster if he will pay for replacing the couplers down the road if they do fail. The motors have to come out.. He may be willing to compromise.. ??
