Default anyone ever try this

Something I always thought about doing on my last 47, and never did, was to add a water line up to the anchor locker. We boat mostly on the river here and when you nose up to a sand bar there is always that problem of sand on the feet when you get back on the front. I've had boats with the shower on the transom which doesn't make sense to me. Plenty of water in back and if there isn't you have more problems than a little sand anyway. I'm picking up my next 47 this week and I wondered if anyone had ever tried this and if there were any problems or reason this wouldn't work?

I know a lot of cruiser have that to hose the anchor lines and decks off with. You could probaby use one of those coiled hoses and it would work great.
