Good afternoon, just completed long block build. trying to mock up accesories. have issues with alternator. 1-wire delco will not clear blower/valve cover. need high-amp mini alternator to mount any suggestions? trying to navigate the powermaster site is difficult.

What kind of blower? What about a low mount like the one from IMCO. It puts the alt. down low on the port side. Post some pics so we can see what you are working with. I'm sure someone can come up with a solution.

this is what eddie's talking about, i have been runningone like this one on my sbc with the 1 wire alternator for the past 10 years..
works great! just make sure you use a 13??? belt, i tryed a 15??? series bel and kept throwing it off..

Thanks for the replies. it is a weiand 177. problemis the power steering mounts low on the port side

IMCO also makes a combo bracket that puts both the alt. and p/s on the same bracket that mounts low on the port side.
Teague has one also.
