Merc 575 SCI Increased Boost

Does anyone have any experience using Arizona Speed and Marine's upgrade for the Merc 575 SCI. The kit comes with new pulley, reprogramming of ecm, thermostat, etc. I am concered about longevity of engine with additional boost. I appreciate any one with experience with this upgrade's comments. It seems like an inexpensive upgrade to achieve a few more MPH.

Do a search on here about ASM... very bad news from what I hear.... their kit has smoked quite a few motors. Drop me a PM with an email and i'll be happy to share some info on some setup help...

That is a good place to start...but there is a cheaper way. I bought the thermostat from them and a 3.5" pulley from the OSO swap shop and used a map from (Eric Betty EB marine). The MSD ignition is no necessary...the stocker is just fine up to 800hp according to Eric. You can also install an adjustable Fuel pressure regulator if you would like to tweek that.
