Warning to all....been there done that.. this is extremely dangerous and there have been many injuries and a few deaths.. The danger is you really can't control how fast you fall and there are times you fall 20-30 feet very fast and land HARD on the hard inflatible and it will bust you up! Not like landing on water... be warned!

Been up on the Manta Ray around 12-15 feet. Buddies kid has flown it around 40+ feet behind a 20' Baja.

There are some old threads here on OSO about it.

I bought this one a few months ago and we tow it behind the PWC and the wakeboard boat off the tower. It's actually a LOT more fun than kite tubing.

I've got the Manta Ray. Illegal here in Kentucky at Corps lakes. I fell from a good height and about broke my hip. My son came down hard. Lucky he wasn't hurt. I'm not in for it anymore and I regularly hit a waterski jump at 60mph. If anyone wants mine it's for sale. The water patrol at cumberland got out of their boat and came looking for me in our lakehouse community!

They were recalled because of the danger. You have no control while airborn and it will turn sideways and crash down. A lot of people were hurt and I think a couple killed. Cut it up and through it away.

Invest in parasailing equipment and training

There were quite a few injuries and a death at Lake Powell. They are illegal at Lake Powell now.
