Default Milk In Oil, Help?

I have a 454 that was built and bored .60 over which is now a 468, 9:5:1 compression. 537,547 lift 224 236 Duration cam. Im running Imco powerflow exhaust manifolds with S.S Risers. My problem is that i am getting water/condensation in the oil. As of now the motor is on the engine cradle, and it may not be getting up to temp? I know it is common to have condensation in the valve covers, but i am getting some milk in the oil. Im running a 140 thermostat like it should. Maybe the motor is not getting hot enough to burn off moisture? I have the PVC caps coming from the valve covers to the carb. Any ideas of what this could be? Any help or suggestions will be a appreciated.

Since its a new build, it could be that an intake or head gasket did not seal.

Which risers do you have? Are they the longer ones or the shorter ones for use with silent choice? It may be reversion. Let the engine idle for 5-10 minutes. DO NOT rev it up. Start it, let it idle, then shut it off. Then lay back the mainfolds and see if there is any water in them. If you have the shorter risers with that cam, then I would bet it is reverting water.

Imco's do have a wet joint between the riser and manifold also and you could have a bad riser gasket. Those are the longer Imco risers, so I doubt you are getting reversion with that cam.

I also doubt there is reversion now that I see the risers. As Griff mentioned, check the gaskets between the manifold and riser. I think I would still idle it on the hose for about 10 min. and lay the manifolds back. If the gasket is leaking, the manifold will be full of water. Remember, do not rev it up. Only let it idle. Good luck.

Ok will do. But this morning went out to the garage untwisted the oil filter a little and nothing but clear clean oil came out??? Before when I pulled the oil filter off there was milk in the oil. I did clean the baffles on the valve covers out a couple days ago. Im going to run it a little while longer this morning and change the oil in it and see what i get. Thanks for the help fellas.
