IMHO - unless your boat is running over 100mph, don't waste your time and money installing a nose cone on a Bravo drive. But, don't ask Mario that question......
Best of luck,

I never said he was going to "Lose speed." I just meant that the gains by installing it were insignificant per horse power $$$ IMHO. Furthermore, I was referring to a V-hull not a cat. I don't know what benefit installing a nose cone on a cat at speeds under 100 would have. In any case, I'm sure there are HUNDREDS of people who would disagree with me. This is just what I have encountered time and time again with these drives.
Best regards and happy boating,

The bravo drive is said to lose its efficiency after 80 mph. anything around that speed people have seen a increases in speed. but not everyone. there are a few post on this subject in the tech section. Do a search and you can find out how people have benefited from them.
