Default Fever

Anyone know where the old yellow 28 Manta "Fever" is these days? Heard it was getting Bravos and new engines some time ago. Anyone got recent pics?

I have almost the identical boat available if youre intersted.

I'll take $ 9,500 and that includes the trailer... It is missing one lower unit.

There was a scam using our pictures to solicit some foreign money wire scheme... very common on Craigslist.

Here are some Fever Pics. I ran the boat with George Hertel and Joe Roth Jr. in the mid 80's

The boat was originally from Ft. Lauderdale/ Keys. George Sold her in 86 to the guy in LI. Let me add that there is great footage of her in the movie "Spring Break"(1983)

You got it right. Yeah I saw this boat you have, it was in IL. Needs too much for me. Mantas are one of the best. The boats are hard to find though. Yours is a 1978? Probably one of the first ones. Fever is a 1980, I think. Yes, George Hertel from the Keys to L.I., NY. Joe Latona to Joe Srgo, Fever is my all time fav. Great boats, if you can find one. Todd you are like me...it's hard to get away from this boat sh!t. I love it!

Default Fever at Holiday Isle

George, Joe Jr. and I ran Fever in the Holiday Isle race in 84.. It was the first race with Joe Sr. as owner of the hotel.

We ran a good race but ran out of fuel fifty yards from the start finish boat. The three of us ended up swimming Fever across the finish line to come in second behind Gary Jeffries in "Bad Company" a 30 Sutphen. Joe Jr. was 14 at the time.

This pic is the program for that race. That's Joe Jr. and myself with Miss Holiday Isle on the cover.. We were on my old 38 Cougar, the former Michelob Light (Halpren's boat) that later became AJ Jr and Mr. Roberts.
