Question Plano Tx Area Lakes

Going to Plano Tx this weekend to visit some relatives. Can anyone suggest a nice lake in the area for a day trip that does not take forever to drive to. PK and Texoma too far for a day trip.
I heard Lewisville has too many legal issues???

Any suggestions (water quality, hangouts, etc.)

Thanks

I frequent Texoma and work in Plano. It's only an hour or so from Plano! Lavon is 15 minutes, but Texoma is worth the extra time.
Had to tell you....You asked!

Texoma is definatly a well worth drive, whats 15 more minutes to get to a huge beutiful lake, put in at highport, and go straght for the island and lewisville is a lot of myth about the legal stuff it's a fun lake at party cove and at sneaky pete's resaraunt and bar

Default Sneaky Pete's

Hmmmm, Sneaky Pete's... That sounds like fun too!

We will be in town to visit my wife's family. Maybe I should go to Sneaky Pete's on Saturday while they visit each other.

Cat,

Email me (click on my name in my signature) and send me your phone numbers, I'll reply with my phone numbers.

I am assuming that I can be a Sneaky Petes around 2:00.

Clay, damn we have to stop meeting like this. Are you going to bring the boat? You know I am just stirring it up on the other post.

I just talked to the better half and she is up for Lewisville. We will be at Sneaky Pete's at 2:00 Saturday.

BTW, we are bringing the mother-in-law. She's pretty cool so we will see how she handles Pete's...TAKE IT EASY.

Oh...What ramp should I use at Lewisville. Which on has a nice ramp and dock facilities? I will be coming from the Plano/Allen area.

I looks like I might not make it by 2:00. You can start drinking without me, but please don't leave without me!
