I found a boat we really like but the only problem is it is sitting overseas in Holland.
Has anyone ever gone through the hassle and expense in doing such a thing?
What were the headaches and the cost associated and time frame of shipping??
Thanks in advance,
Mike.

I shipped a boat over to Germany. Honestly all I had to provide was the hull ID and bill of sale. You will need to contact a shipping company and they will get you all the details. you might want to watch as winter is getting near and make sure that the boat has been winterized or it will freeze coming across the pond. The guy paid somewhere around 5-7K to get it from Jacksonville Fl to Germany. Cost depends on the price of the Dollar to the Euro as well.

Very easy if you have a good shipping company. If you are interested pm me and I will give the info on the company the buyer used. I would say 5k as an estimate.

Hi
I live in holland ,near Amsterdam ,and I bought a 32 hustler 2 years ago in NJ and I paid $ 3700 for the ride on a RO-RO boat (roll on roll off) this is the easiest and cheapest way other option is a craddle .
Where is the boat located maybe I can help you some how .

I shipped a nice boat to the Netherlands and the guy is happy with the boat. But there are way to many shady people out there and mint condition is in the eyes of the beholder. i would stay local or deal with some of the bigger brokers out there. I boat a boat from suncoast boat brokers in Florida and one from an Active thunder rep, both without seeing them and was totally satisfied with the boats because I trusted them based on there reputation. It is a buyers market good luck.
