Northern Illinios Offshore Club hosted the annual River Shiver on the Chain-O-Lakes. 53 boats attended and this year it lived up to it's namesake "Shiver". It was 45 degrees in the morning but did turn out to be a nice day at about 60 degrees and sunny.

Fountain, Skater, Sonic, MTI, Apache, Baja, Hustler, Sunsation and even three pontoons. Yeah we even let pontoons that can run over 70 mph come along One is the world fastest at 100 mph!! Unbelievable collection of serious hardware.

BoatPix helicopter was there. Lee Hogan pictures with his plane was there. And another seaplane was hanging around. The water was crowded and so was the air.

Lee Hogan took these photos and are available in very high res through him.

Was my first shiver... great time I had a lot of fun. Too bad we didn't make it out to the lake on time for all the pics, had to assist a clogged up fountain with moral support haha

Thats one good looking Skater owner in the first Picture!!! JK..What a good time! Nice cool weather, had the 28 at 112.8 mph with 5 people and a cooler. I know that nothin' compared to most of you guys, but its good for me! Later, Dave
