Looks like I'll be buying a boat in Miami. Just looking for some options.
Transport from Miami to STL.
Truck rental one way to STL.
Any ideas would be great. I just don't want to drive both ways.

how big of boat. complete worse case... my brother runs and picks up harleys for his boss from florida with a 33 inclosed trailer. he picks up like 8 or so at a time. here in iowa they go for more than in florida. anyways, he does transport under a company called rons toy box. they have dealt with a few boats. do not know the insurance coverage off the top of my head but i can see if ron (his boss) would price it. ciurrent truck is a ford super duty 1 ton.

I'ld be leery about a rental truck as far as the rating on the trailer hitch, brake controller, condition, ect. It's not that bad of a trip, plus if you drive your truck you can bring along emergency equipment such as tools, bottle jack and such. I've done that trip twice in the last 9 months, it's kind of fun picking up a new ride! Good luck, sounds like a nice ride! Steve
