How much oil will my 454 mag in my 88 Baja hold?

Plan on at lest 5 qt. put four qts in and check dip stick

The pan holds 8 qts. You may not be able to get it all out when you drain it. It depends on how you are getting the oil out. The filter will hold about 1/2 qt. You should use about 8 qts total when you change oil and filter.
