Question Gimbal replacement, XR, HP or IMCO?

My gimbal and ring are destroyed, now I have to replace. Would like to improve the safety factor, but also don't want to go over kill.

XR, HP or IMCO?? (what is the difference?)

Stainless gimble ring?

What type of full Hydraulic steering?

Currently the 21' boat will do 81 MPH on GPS, the hull is V bottom with pad. Would assume with a fresh motor, would get in the high 80's. So using a maximum speed of 90 MPH.

What should I do?

If you want the IMCO Gimbal you will have to have a full hydraulic steering system.

The IMCO unit is very refined appears to be a good upgrade over the hp.
