looking at a used 28 with a 502 .would have thought it to be plenty of motor until reading a few posts. any thoughts.have yet to see boat in person.any problems i need to look for with the boat in general.

According to everyone I have talked to with that motor boat will not hit 70. 525 minimum to go 80.

That boat should be for sale at a really cheap price considering there are still left over 2008 scepters without power/drives for sale at stupid prices (Long Beach Yacht Sales). Sounds to be like someone had left over power and a drive and is trying to make a few $$.

525EFI will make that boat run 80.
